This apartment embodies a concept of intense passion and pride in design. Each room is characterized by a strong and distinctive character, with elements carefully curated with dedication and a meticulous love for detail.
The idea behind these spaces is to create an environment that is not only elegant and high-quality, but also full of energy, warmth, and personality. The colors used, vibrant and welcoming, reflect the taste and unique style of the talented designer Gloria Colazzo.
Every corner of Burning Pride tells a story of passion for design and contemporary art, making this apartment the ideal choice for those who appreciate the combination of refined aesthetics and functionality. Choose Burning Pride if you want to live in a space that celebrates design and contemporary art in every detail.
The 150-square-meter Burning Pride apartment is located on the first floor and features two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private terrace accessible via an internal staircase.
The color palette chosen for the Burning Pride apartment is vibrant and energetic. The renovation has given new geometries and visions to the spaces typical of Salento’s cross vaults thanks to the innovative use of color.
Once past the shared entrance stairway, one enters a spacious living area. The sofa and cabinets make this space comfortable. The walls are painted in three parts: a yellow base topped by violet that completely covers the vaults. In the center, three large lampshades specially designed for the space. In the living area there is also a niche that conceals an ancient well used for the water supply.
At the center of the main wall, the writing “Cute but crazy” embodies an ode to creativity. This space is also ideal for reading or relaxing on the sofa, accompanied by a splendid floor lamp.
The kitchen is essential and functional. The cooking area is obtained in an old wall niche, with green in two different shades and pink as the predominant colors. The white table with orange chairs creates a lively contrast. In addition, in this area of the house there is a total blue bathroom.
From the kitchen, a private staircase leads to the rooftop terrace. The iconic yellow staircase leads to a terrace surrounded by historic stone seating, with a table and other seating in the center.
This space overlooks the inner courtyard, making it ideal for spending evenings and admiring the sunset in complete freedom, or for having breakfast at the first light of dawn.
The first twin bedroom is decorated in orange and deep blue. The color block created on the entrance door, with a large blue circle and a rectangle, does not go unnoticed, while the vault is painted like a sheet that tells poems.
In particular, a passage by the Portuguese writer Saramago on the concept of travel was chosen, an element that unites art in all its aspects. The text underlines that “the journey never ends. Only the travelers end“, inviting us to continue exploring and observing new details, to revisit places with different eyes, to grasp the nuances and transformations of reality. It is an invitation to continually embark on new journeys, both physical and mental, to constantly discover something new.
The second bedroom, with a double bed, is decorated in shades of light green and violet, making it refined and elegant. A large lampshade in the center of the vault illuminates the room, while two lampshades on the bedside tables create an intimate atmosphere. The bedroom has a niche in the wall, that can be used as a wardrobe, and a shared balcony overlooking Via Stella.
The second bedroom has an en suite bathroom that is characteristic of Salento architecture. The sink area is raised on steps and topped by a large circular mirror.
The Burning Pride apartment is perfect for those who love design and contemporary art, offering a unique environment that combines elegance, functionality, and a touch of extravagant creativity.
